JOEE CONS

Territory: The World (Non-Exclusive)
Origin: Toronto, Canada

Joee Cons is a DJ, Producer and Remixer who began his musical journey in Toronto, Canada. Forming an electronic group with childhood friend, the duo began recording house and techno inspired by the early dance scenes of New York, Chicago, Detroit and London.

Fascinated by the energy created when hearing two tracks mixed together, turntables quickly became his choice instrument and he began to DJ at events and nightclubs. During that period, he became of age, playing for thousands for the first time at super clubs, underground parties and infamous raves.

His debut single ‘Get Funkee’ was released and became a Top 10 Hit. It was signed to Strictly Rhythm’s Groovilicious label, and was licensed to compilations in Canada, USA and Japan. In 2006, Joee remixed Carlo Lio’s ‘Everybody’ which was supported by Carl Cox, propelling a number of solid productions and remixes. In 2008, his single ‘Don’t Stop’ was featured on Canada’s Finest House Compilation.

Joee’s unique style has brought him to shows in Canada, US and Mexico including WMC and The BPM Festival. Some of his notable residencies included The Guvernment, Comfort Zone, Coda, Nest, Cabana, Vertigo, Toybox and Circus Montreal. He’s played shows with the likes of Mark Knight, Chus & Ceballos, Deadmau5, Joris Voorn, Steve Lawler, Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Dubfire, Technasia and Eli Brown to name a few.

In early 2010, his dark techno cut ‘In The Dark’ peaked on the Beatport Top 100. His first full vocal track ‘Fine Day’ featuring Jaclyn followed. The same year ‘Automatik’ and ‘Uno Dos Tres’ gained global traction with ‘Automatik’ entering Top 10 on Nowtrax Asia.

In 2011, his remixes for Alex Sandrino, Chris Vench and Jeff Mason went on to become label best sellers. In 2012, ‘Cat Got Your Tongue/Hold Yourself’ EP on Incorrect went Top 5 on Beatport’s Tech House Top 100 Releases Chart. Soon after his single ‘Down The Drain’ became one of WMC’s premier tracks with heavy support by Chus & Ceballos and hit Top 30 on Beatport’s Top 100 Tech House Chart. In 2014, his ‘Conscept’ EP charted on three Beatport Releases Charts simultaneously, House, Tech House and Deep House. The lead off track ‘Hope’ received support from Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, Roger Sanchez and UMEK to name a few. 2015 saw more original tracks like ‘The Key’ and ‘Esperanza’ both receiving additional support from Carl Cox.

Perpetually moving forward, Joee Cons continues to captivate audiences and fans alike. With so much more in store, his greatest pleasure has been and continues to be, feeling the energy off a dance floor.
